If you grow up without love from your family, how can you become a happy person as an adult? Some people say that if you have an unhappy childhood, you spend your whole life healing from it. Jiang Chi says he is lucky, because he met Xu Zhi in his youth, and she healed his wounds and gave him a happy, complete family again.
