This is a modern romance full of everyday warmth and tender feelings. On a bustling commercial street, the fates of Deng Ke, owner of the Shancheng Jiugong hot pot restaurant, and Su Xi, who runs the "Sweeet Hour" dessert shop, become intertwined because their shops are next door to each other. Deng Ke is devoted to his family's generations-old hot pot restaurant, which carries his parents' hopes and memories. Su Xi, meanwhile, is passionate about desserts and runs her own little sweet haven.

The arrival of Zhao Mingyuan shatters their peaceful lives. Driven by ambitions to expand his business, he tries to buy up the shops on the street and build a hot pot complex, with Deng Ke's restaurant as his first target. As Zhao Mingyuan bears down on him, Deng Ke is caught in a dilemma, while Su Xi stands by his side without hesitation. Together, they face the crisis.
