On the vast and mysterious Spirit Fantasy Continent, the strong rule, and spiritual power determines life and death. The protagonist, Lin Feng, lost both parents at a young age and was adopted by Uncle Lin in the remote village of Lingyuan. Though his path of cultivation began with hardship and he still had not gathered spiritual power at fifteen, his resolve never wavered.
A strange incident in the mountains behind the village led Lin Feng to a mysterious jade box, opening the door to an extraordinary journey. The box transported him to a mysterious space, where he obtained the supreme cultivation art Nine Suns of the Spirit Sky and finally embarked on the path of cultivation. But Lin Feng's growth drew the attention of Lin Hu, the village bully, who joined forces with outsiders to seize the box. At the critical moment, a flash of light from the box carried Lin Feng into the mysterious space to escape.
After getting out of danger, Lin Feng joined the Spirit Feather Sect. His outstanding performance there aroused Wu Tian's jealousy and hostility, and later Zhou Meng tried to steal his cultivation art. With his own strength and Su Yao's help, Lin Feng overcame one crisis after another. Su Yao took him to cultivate in Spirit Fantasy Valley, where he weathered countless opportunities and dangers. First, he outmaneuvered a swarm of spirit bees, absorbed the power of a seven-colored lotus to break through a bottleneck, and then received the mysterious old man's legacy, Phantom Step.
Unwilling to accept defeat, Zhou Meng and the others risked sneaking into Spirit Fantasy Valley to launch a surprise attack. With the mysterious old man watching, Lin Feng fought back with his own strength and the martial techniques he had inherited. Just as danger peaked, Elder Xuan Feng arrived in time and escorted Zhou Meng and the others back to the sect to be punished. Later, guided by the mysterious old man, Lin Feng underwent a marrow-cleansing baptism in the Spirit Spring, greatly increasing his strength. But beneath the spring lay an even greater opportunity: the Nine Suns Reversal Scripture. It also brought the trial of the guardian flood dragon, and Lin Feng endured a grueling battle, narrowly escaping disaster.
