Mother Stole My Place as Empress and Gave It to My Sister

My twin sister and I were both daughters of the prime minister. We had the same face, yet our mother only loved my dignified, composed sister. When I was named empress by imperial decree, Mother not only failed to celebrate for me, but accused me of standing in my sister's way. So, risking the extermination of our entire family, she cruelly disfigured and killed me, then sent my sister to the palace to become empress in my name. My body vanished without a trace, while my sister successfully gave birth to the crown prince and eventually ascended to the throne as empress dowager. When I opened my eyes again, I had returned to the day the eunuch came to the prime minister's residence to deliver the decree. I secretly slipped him a hundred gold pieces and told him he must inform the emperor that the real Qin Zhenzhen had a red teardrop-shaped mole behind her ear.
