[Two male leads + the true love is the white moonlight + a slight change-of-partner element + a secondary couple]
Giving up on Qu Chen was the decision Yu Yan regretted least.
But when his current boyfriend accused him of never getting over his white moonlight, he agreed without hesitation.
Now that Qu Chen is back too, why not make the accusation come true?
[Niche preferences. Both the main and secondary couples have them, so please don’t read if that’s not your thing. Thanks for understanding.]
Warnings:
No switching pairings or attacking comments. They’ll be deleted (!)
There are two couples. The main couple is Qu Chen x Yu Yan, and the secondary couple is Cheng Shijin x Qi An. The order of the names matters.
The partner who is pursued has an ex-boyfriend. They’ve already broken up when the story starts, and he’ll only come up later in flashbacks. This has nothing to do with a replacement lover.
The story is tagged as unrequited love. The one who pursues is the white moonlight, but as mentioned above, they reunite at the beginning. The past appears in interspersed flashbacks, with no long sections devoted to pining.
The secondary couple has a significant impact on the main couple’s past and present, and gets a fair amount of page time. Please skip this if that bothers you.
The story is simply about two people who reunite, gradually change their relationship, and settle into an ordinary romance. There’s little drama and no excessive emotional entanglement.
