Delivery driver Chen Mo discovers that a "Death Notice" app has installed itself on his phone. Every order leads him to a corpse, and a bad review triggers a death countdown. At crime scenes, he can hear vengeful spirits placing orders: "Sweet-and-sour ribs, medium rare." He's forced to raise a starving ghost in his insulated delivery box and solve cases to meet his performance targets.
(A mind-bending plot: take notes as you read, so you don't forget any clues.)
