In an unremarkable village in a small city far down the rankings, a handful of families live side by side. They come from different backgrounds, but each has children of similar ages: Chen Dai, Chen Yu, Li Mingche, Jiang Na, and Chen Ying. They grow up together, bound to one another.
There are not only young people here, but also the elderly. Everyone has a story of their own, each one as earth-shaking as it is insignificant as a speck of dust.
