The Golden Chinchilla Is a Lucky Little Star, Clingy and Mischievous

After his marriage to his CEO wife fell apart, a father returned to a life in the mountains with his five-year-old daughter. While exploring the hills near their hometown, they came across a mysterious golden-shaded tiger cub named Jinyuanbao, setting off on a fantastical journey.

Their adorable pet Jinyuanbao spends its days wrecking the house and being cute, but also has its heroic moments, outsmarting crop-stealing badgers and fighting off poachers. The father and daughter livestream sales to support their mountain home, and take part in ecotourism, preserving intangible cultural heritage, and other activities. Their bond grows ever deeper, while their relationship with the CEO wife, still living in the city, remains tangled and uncertain.
