The Lovesick Educated Youth Returns to the City, Then Marries His Uncle

In 1975, Jiang Nuan heard that the man she liked was going to the countryside as an educated youth. She packed her bags and went with him.

Five years later, in 1980, when they returned to the city, he turned around and married his dear adopted sister, then had Jiang Nuan thrown in prison for thirty years. She never got out before she died.

Jiang Nuan: So you really shouldn’t suffer alongside a man.

After being reborn, Jiang Nuan decisively married someone else.

“You married my sister, so I’ll marry your uncle. Let’s hear you call me Auntie.”

The man pinned her against the wall, his eyes bloodshot. “Do you even have a heart? Can’t you love me?”

Jiang Nuan: “If you knew I killed you in my previous life, would you still love me?”

Xie Siming: “Yes. I’d love you even after death.”
