Lin Yu comes from an ordinary background, but by chance awakens the mysterious Spirit Abyss Martial Soul and embarks on the path of cultivation. Along the way, he meets Su Yao and Ye Lan, and the three travel and grow together. Their journey is far from smooth, however, as the five major villains, led by the Dark Night Demon Lord, relentlessly hunt them down to stop Lin Yu from rising to power.
Even when facing formidable enemies, Lin Yu and his companions never give up. They grow stronger and foil the villains' schemes one after another. In the process, Lin Yu gradually uncovers the secret of his origins: his family once had a deep vendetta against the Dark Night Demon Lord, and he bears the responsibility of avenging them and saving the Spirit Illusion Continent.
As the story unfolds, the battles between Lin Yu and the five major villains grow ever more fierce. During one decisive showdown, Lin Yu and his companions are driven to the brink, but their steadfast convictions and unyielding determination ultimately turn the tide, and they defeat the Dark Night Demon Lord. They do not let their guard down, however, because they know that evil will never disappear, and new challenges still await them.
