"Nianganchu" is a specific official office established in the Qing Dynasty. It was established relatively early and is generally believed to have been established by Emperor Shunzhi (the second emperor of the Qing Dynasty) or his auxiliary ministers in the early Qing Dynasty. Its main functions were closely related to the order of the Qing court and the emperor's security.
