Gene Illusion tells the story of Lin Ye, a cloned boy who awakens amid the ruins of a gene war, only to discover that he is caught in the schemes of a higher civilization and under the control of Star-Eating Beasts. As he breaks the gene locks, he gains the ability to travel through time and space, journeying through the Corridors of Fate in search of the truth. In the end, Lin Ye joins forces with other awakened individuals to resist the rule of the higher civilization, break free from its control over humanity, and usher in a new era.
