After losing his job, overworked internet grunt Gongsun Yu, a 996 office worker, gets drunk and wakes up with his soul in the Eastern Han Dynasty, where he awakens the “Evenly Matched” golden finger.
When fighting a top-tier general one-on-one, his combat prowess rises to just above his opponent's. After the duel, the Host's combat prowess increases by one point.
So Gongsun Yu challenges everyone he meets: “Hey, you there! I'll fight you one-on-one. Dare to accept?”
At Hulao Pass, facing Lü Bu: “You three-surnamed slave, dare to fight me one-on-one?”
When he sees a drunk Zhang Fei whipping a soldier: “Leopard-eyed bandit, I'm calling you out. Dare to fight me one-on-one?”
Cao Cao: “Your Majesty, Gongsun Ziyan has gone mad. He's actually challenging me to a duel. Save me!”
Cai Wenji: “Gongsun Yu, you dragged me up the mountain, beat up my fiancé, and still claim you did it for my own good?!”
In the end, Gongsun Yu unifies the Three Kingdoms, then joins forces with many beauties to usher in a new era.
This story is divided into three volumes. If you like plenty of satisfying moments, you can start with Volume Two.
Volume One takes place during the Yellow Turban Rebellion. The protagonist secretly builds his strength. It's a slow-burn farming story.
Volume Two is about the warlords vying for supremacy. The protagonist begins to make a name for himself, in a silly, comedic style.
The story has been abandoned before its proper ending. Readers, stay away.
