Is This System Fake? The Fox Fairy Sister's Freeloader Life Is Better

The ancient demon clan powerhouse Yue Ying perished during a tribulation, and her remnant soul possessed the ice fox that had risked its life to save her. Together, they fell into a deep slumber in a lost realm.

When Lu Qi was down on his luck, he happened to find and adopt a little white fox. They depended on each other for over a decade, until one day, the soul sleeping inside the fox finally awoke...

Later, the System came to him, and he thought he could become the chosen one of fortune, level up by sleeping, and have beautiful women throw themselves at him... But he never expected to transmigrate to another world, beginning a fantastical journey through the world of immortals.

Lu Qi hoped he could lie flat with the System to rely on, but there was something strange about it: its quests were bizarre, it skimped on rewards, and sometimes he couldn't even summon it... Forget it. He couldn't count on the System, so he might as well keep a low profile.

A slow-burn story with no abuse of the protagonist, no brainless plot or characters, plenty of scenes for the heroine, and a world that's both ethereal and cool.
