Overlord of the Firmament: A New Era

In the boundless multiverse, the Great Spirit World is rich in spiritual energy. Its myriad races live in peace and prosperity, and harmony abounds. But an evil force known as “Oblivion” surges in from the depths of the universe, shattering worlds and extinguishing all life in its path. The Great Spirit World is on the brink of destruction.

Su Xiao comes from a minor family in the Great Spirit World. While exploring the ruins of his family’s ancestral grounds, he accidentally merges with a Primal Chaos Spirit Crystal and gains the ability to control the power of chaos. But the power attracts the greed of a family traitor. Hunted down, he is forced to flee.

During his escape, Su Xiao meets Mu Yao, a kindhearted pharmacist’s apprentice. Moved by his determination, Mu Yao helps treat his wounds and find resources for cultivation. The two later join the Lingxiao Sect. Su Xiao stands out thanks to his chaotic power, but struggles with its conflict against the sect’s spiritual energy, while Mu Yao’s talent earns her a place as an elder’s personal disciple.

As “Oblivion” ravages the Great Spirit World, it falls into utter despair. Su Xiao and Mu Yao join forces with powerful warriors such as Yan Feng and Bing Li to form a resistance army and fight the forces of “Oblivion” to the death. They discover that the black-robed elder is Ye Ying, a once-great warrior corrupted by “Oblivion.” To find a way to fight back, they travel through the multiverse. In a world of technology, they obtain an energy-amplification device; in the primordial world, they master forbidden spells, greatly increasing their strength.

The final battle erupts. Su Xiao grasps the ultimate secret of the power of chaos, defeats the black-robed elder, purifies “Oblivion,” and saves the Great Spirit World and the multiverse. But a new crisis is quietly emerging, and they must once again set out to protect peace across the universe.
