[Short Story • Prologue] Everyday life + not an invincible protagonist + no System + no levels + transmigrated into the real world of Pokemon + primarily follows the anime's worldbuilding, with game plots added (+ Chapter 12 is the one I'm happiest with)
Also known as: Pokemon: True Power Players Train Their XP to the Max!
Shen Hui unexpectedly transmigrated to the world of Pokemon. After Professor Oak's Dragonite found him, he was given the name Oak Hui. With the little Pokemon knowledge he had from his previous life, he managed to get by at Professor Oak's Laboratory. Then, on the day he turned ten, he set out on his journey.
"It's too late. Ash has already traveled to Kalos, which means it's the year 532 of the League calendar. The Legendary Pokemon have all appeared, and there's no affection left to build."
Hui: "I think this is a pretty good time, actually."
Fake power players catch powerful Pokemon (Shinji: Don't @ me). True power players train their XP to the max!!!
Many years later, Hui stood on the podium at the Masters Eight ceremony. The gentle sunlight reminded him of the day he first set out on his journey. The weather had been just as clear and bright then, and his Starter Pokémon was still by his side.
