Mystery Cases in Ancient Times

After being demoted, famed constable Gu Zhuiyun leaves the imperial court, changes his name, and opens a laid-back inn where he can slack off. Candied hawthorn skewers in one hand, dried fish in the other, he spends his days playing the pig to eat the tiger. In secret, he investigates cases with Tang Tiaotiao and Shen Jinsuan!

Tang Tiaotiao is a mighty, strong-as-an-ox cook. Her wok spatula can fry tofu and crack locked-room mysteries, but she still can't jump onto a roof beam.

Shen Jinsuan is a wealthy young playboy. His golden abacus can tally his romantic entanglements and balance the accounts of the dead, but it can't calculate his own true feelings.
