The protagonist Lin Fan was an orphan in the village. He accidentally traveled to a parallel world after the outbreak of the apocalypse and obtained the Civilization 6 game system. When the first zombie was headshot by a flintlock gun, Lin Fan discovered that the bullet casings dropped to the ground and turned into technology points. In this apocalyptic world where civilization has collapsed, his system follows strange game rules: clearing subway stations to unlock "industrial areas", recovering power plants to activate "nuclear energy technology", and even using zombie crystal nuclei to replace strategic resources. While other survivors were still using steel pipes to fight against the evolved zombies, Lin Fan's mechanized army had already pushed across half of the city. Until the satellite cloud image showed a fleet of flesh and blood composed of tens of millions of zombies drifting from the Pacific Ocean, the system suddenly made a harsh sound.
