The Pact of the Reverse Scale

A thousand years ago, the dragons ruled the four seas and stood proudly beneath the heavens. But the merciless Heavenly Dao issued a divine decree, casting them out as a forsaken race.

A thousand years later, Nezha and Ao Bing's fates become entwined. One is the demon child misunderstood by the world; the other, a dragon orphan exiled by the Heavenly Court.

They have fought side by side, and they have crossed swords.

They are confidants, sworn enemies, and the deepest obsession in each other's lives.

But the world will not accept them, and fate cannot be defied. Their forbidden bond is bound in layer upon layer of chains. At the crossing of fate, they must choose: break free, or sink beneath it.

Ao Bing wants to lead the dragons out of their shackles and make the world acknowledge their existence. Nezha wants him to live, even if it means making an enemy of the Heavenly Court.

But in the end, they understand that this world has no place for them.

"Nezha, is there really a place for us in this world?"

"If there isn't, then we'll fight our way to one."

It is both salvation and calamity.

When the Heavenly Dao sends down its thunder punishment and the Heavenly Palace seals the Register of Living Beings once more, how will they break free?

As their forbidden feelings, buried for a thousand years, slowly spread, are Nezha and Ao Bing bound by destiny, or doomed to tragedy beneath the Heavenly Dao?

"Nezha, if there is a next life, I don't want to be a dragon again."

"Ao Bing, if there is a next life, I will defy fate and change our destinies."

If the Heavenly Court forbids dragons to exist, then I'll shatter the heavens!
