In 2199, giant corporations rule the world, and cities are divided into heaven and hell by steel and neon. Jesse Edelin, an eldest lady who was tired of the constraints of her family, escaped from the luxurious vertical city and stepped into the desolate wasteland. She joined the "Crown of Catena", a righteous gang, and met the sassy leader Ye Yin.
However, Jesse's body is on the verge of collapse due to prosthetic transformation, and the only antidote, "Starry Heart", is monopolized by the company. In order to survive, she and Ye Yin embarked on an adventure journey, from the wilderness to the underwater city, from the underground black market to the starry sky city, facing gang pursuits and corporate conspiracies, and uncovering the dark truth under the neon light and shadow.
