Beneath the Clouds, Above the Apricot Grove

(Younger wolf-dog military officer × unflappable traditional Chinese medicine practitioner | sweet and angsty)

*“The cold-faced officer feared by the entire military district looks at her with pleading eyes: ‘Sis… can you please not stick me with needles this time?’”*

*“The man who commands the room during flight briefings is now burying his face in her neck and acting spoiled: ‘Let me smell the herbs… then I can fall asleep.’”*

(A note before you start: The male lead is a crybaby younger brother, a sweet, scheming little puppy who fights to win her over and cries pitifully every day after the female lead gives him a hard time.

If you love seeing boys cry, don’t miss this!!!)

The female lead, Su Mu, is an inheritor of traditional Chinese medicine, a recognized item of intangible cultural heritage.

She’s famous for her beauty and ruthlessness, earning the nickname “Su the Knife.”

A newcomer to the workplace, she gets saddled with a “difficult” patient from the start.

The male lead, Shen Chuan, is a refined scion of a high-ranking family.

He has countless admirers in the military district, but he never shows interest in women.

By day, he’s an innocent-looking, sweet little schemer. By night, he’s calculating and fiercely possessive.

Shen Chuan: “Flirting means I want to keep tabs on you, but I don’t have the right…”

“Your body tells the truth. If you hate me, you can tell me to stop anytime…”

“…”

“Sis, have you ever liked me?”

“I have. I’ve always liked you…”

Shen Chuan: “Maybe I’m a fool, but I only want to give everything I have to the person I love…”

Su Mu: “Then go protect our country. I’ll protect you.”

“My parents don’t want me anymore. I’m going to be a stray kid nobody wants…”

“They may not want you, but I do.”

“Hello. Let me introduce myself again. My name is Shen Chuan!”

You can only be my sister, and no one else’s!
