Gu Qingyou had only average talent. “Mediocrity has no place in the Gu family,” so her family had never thought much of her.
At her coming-of-age ceremony, she should have been the star, but her older sister, Gu Qingyu, stole the spotlight.
After the ceremony, she was “invited” to leave home in the name of cultivating her “independence.” In this world where strength reigns supreme, this beautiful young woman with ordinary talent encountered the protagonist of the story.
She was exceptionally gifted, breathtakingly beautiful, and widely admired for her personality.
Everything went smoothly for her, and whenever she faced hardship, she brushed it aside with a wave of her hand.
But the price she had to pay for every success was that people like Gu Qingyou gave up everything...
This is the story of a minor character struggling in a vast world. Just as she finally glimpses a ray of light, an unseen hand drags her back into the abyss.
(She isn’t invincible early on. In fact, she’s little more than a dispensable mascot among the protagonist’s companions. She turns dark later. No male lead.)
I feel like the writing is okay but I don't have the motivation to keep reading. The plot of The Riddler is not suitable for the Tomato platform. The pace is too slow. The writing style is good but not very outstanding. I will read more books and come back to read it.
Beautiful and highly recommended (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤ Really, this is the 6th book that I can substitute among the many books I have read on Tomato.
