A cool-on-the-outside, warm-on-the-inside musical prodigy vs. a quirky photographer
-
When Zhu Yin hears Liang Sheng's name again, he has become the musical prodigy everyone talks about, and tickets to his performances are impossible to get. Countless people adore him.
Five years after their breakup, they meet again. He sits expressionless at the head of the table, as cold as he was when they first met, but the hand resting casually on the chair is clenched so tightly his knuckles have gone white.
After dinner, he corners her in a secluded spot. His voice is utterly cold. “The famous photographer who's just returned from abroad. Long time no see.”
-
Zhu Yin assumes Liang Sheng hates and resents her. After all, she was the one who dumped him back then, so she avoids him at every turn, until he can no longer hold back and pulls her into his arms, his voice tight with restraint.
“Are you going to run away again?”
“Mr. Liang, what do you mean?”
“A Yin, give me another chance.”
-
Liang Sheng stops at nothing and does everything he can to draw her back into his life.
Their friends invite him to one get-together after another, but Liang Sheng keeps turning them down. Eventually, he simply switches off his phone and disappears. Everyone teases him for hiding a beauty away and being lovestruck. When the teasing reaches his ears, he only smiles indulgently. “She is pretty sweet.”
When he finally shows up with the woman by his side, he wraps an arm around his “sweetheart” and introduces her to everyone. “No need for introductions. You all know her.”
He yields for love, but never grovels.
He falls into a trap set in love's name, and embraces it willingly.
