They say that on the first day of the seventh lunar month, the gates of hell swing wide open.
The mass grave where bodies were dumped many years ago is now covered in trees, no longer a bare hillside. Many young people like to explore the mountain, but most of those who enter on the first day of the seventh lunar month never come back.
In the village not far from the foot of the mountain, an amateur Taoist who helps people with their troubles was strolling back to his shabby wooden hut with a fish he'd caught. But as soon as he pushed open the door, he saw five extraordinary young people, men and women, standing in the courtyard.
Here we go again, he thought. He didn't want to help, so he drove them all out of his courtyard one by one. But after everyone else had left, the last one, a stern and imposing man, closed the heavy wooden door with a smile.
“Brother, how about taking me up the mountain?”
Song Li was about to refuse when a sudden gust of wind blew open the door to his hut. They both looked inside and saw the radio fall to the floor. It seemed to hit the switch, and began playing an opera in a crackling voice.
A mournful, chilling wind blows,
The place of suffering is called Yin Mountain~
Two people make a desperate escape from an abandoned psychiatric hospital
Twelve floors of bizarre horrors, twelve rules that must never be broken
A ghost ship legend comes true, and they search for lost treasure...
*It's not quite an infinite-flow story, but it does have several arcs.
The story involves vast distances in space and time. Most things mentioned in the book are fictional, so don't apply them to real life or bring them up in other works.
The horror gets progressively more difficult, so just read as much as you can manage.
The pacing varies, and this isn't exactly a wish-fulfillment story. It can be pretty frustrating.
Finished in 45 minutes 🤦
To be honest, it was really frustrating. I died for a while, lost my memory for a while, and my fighting ability was not very good. I felt like I was either being beaten or on the way to being beaten in every world.
The development of the dungeon feels like it has no beginning or end, the narrative is not clear, clues and some events pop up suddenly, and other characters appear inexplicably.
