After My Wife Pretended to Lose Her Memory, We Were Buried in Debt

My wife wanted to make her young boyfriend’s dream of becoming vice president come true, so she pretended to have amnesia after a car accident and planned to strip me of my position.

I overheard her young boyfriend asking her as I passed by:

"If you do this, aren’t you afraid your brother-in-law will stop caring about you?"

But my wife didn’t care.

"I’m only letting you have fun for seven days. Then I’ll say my memory has come back. How could he blame a patient?"

I paused, but didn’t expose her lie.

The next day, in the conference room, my wife slammed the table and said her young boyfriend was her husband, ordered me out of the company, and demanded that I hand over all my projects.

Every employee watched me, waiting for me to stop my wife’s unreasonable behavior.

But I didn’t fight back. I simply signed the resignation agreement obediently.

What she didn’t know was that the project deadline was only seven days away, and the client would work only with me, the key member of the team.

Seven days later, she wouldn’t get what she wanted. Instead, she’d face astronomical compensation and prison.
