Lu Ling is reborn one year before the apocalypse. In her previous life, during the harsh end times, she failed Ah Hu, who died protecting her, and was consumed by regret. Now that she has returned, she vows to cherish Ah Hu and make up for everything she once lost. After unexpectedly activating the Apocalypse Stockpiling System, she first works to make Ah Hu her husband, and the two prepare together for the coming apocalypse.
She uses the System to exchange for dark, lightning, and mental abilities for Ah Hu, while she gains healing and ice abilities. But their greedy relatives try to steal their stockpiles and won’t leave them alone. Then disaster strikes: extreme cold, extreme heat, and endless nights ravage the world in turn, zombies run rampant, and survival becomes ever more difficult.
Faced with crisis after crisis, Lu Ling and Ah Hu support each other, holding on through the darkness with their abilities and wits. Can they defeat the wicked and protect each other and their supplies? Can they find a way to survive in this brutal apocalypse and write their own warm and hopeful legend?
