Lord of the Starry Cosmos

[Fusion Fantasy] Cultivation + Battle Qi + Martial Souls + Gu Arts + Sorcery + Magic

One day, Ye Bufan received a mysterious vision in a dream and learned of clues to the scattered pieces of a heaven-defying treasure. Little did he know that these pieces were closely connected to the Celestial Origin Palace, which governed the survival of all living things.

To obtain this treasure, he carved a path through every obstacle, sparing no effort as he crossed countless perilous places and traversed numerous universes. He survived death-defying crises time and again, risking his life to contend with the Heavenly Court, and finally managed to gather every piece.

He thought his adventures had reached their limit, but then he unexpectedly discovered the existence of the Netherworld under the jurisdiction of the God of Death.

Overjoyed, he planned to go to the Netherworld and strike a deal with the Ten Yama Kings and Ksitigarbha: he would offer the Celestial Origin Palace in exchange for his family’s resurrection.

But the Netherworld was shrouded in mystery. No one knew its exact location, let alone how to enter it. Then, by chance, his soul entered a place steeped in baleful energy, and only after exhausting every means could he escape.

Only afterward did he realize that this was the very Netherworld he had spent years searching for in vain. Though frustrated beyond words, he had no choice but to risk returning there.

Yet the Celestial Origin Palace and the Netherworld, these two treasures of yin and yang, had suppressed the myriad universes since before the dawn of primordial chaos. They were the source from which all things arose.

There were only two treasures of this caliber in the whole world. How could he be willing to give up the Celestial Palace?

But if he refused the trade, his family would have no chance of coming back to life.

Would he defy fate and change his destiny, or bear the pain of letting go? How would he face this choice between life and death?

Years later, when Ye Bufan looked back, he realized that it had all been part of a scheme. Unknown forces had been locked in a contest, and he was merely a somewhat important chess piece!
