With the Merit Seal in Hand, Everything Goes My Way

[Urban farming + Everyday life + Family squabbles + Building a life from nothing with his own two hands + Merit exchange]

With his mother seriously ill, his older sister divorced and raising two kids, and his father an alcoholic gambler, Yang Yi faces a disastrous start just one year after graduating from junior college.

Luckily, he merges with a jade seal of merit. The Heavenly Dao within the seal connects to countless parallel worlds much like Blue Star.

By offering items, culture, and knowledge from the real world as sacrifices, he can earn merit points. He can then use those points to exchange with the Heavenly Dao for anything he can imagine.

There’s the [Hundred-Herb Decoction], which treats fatty tumors on the lower back; the [Golden Oil], which helps people quit smoking and drinking; and the [Cold Fragrance Pill], which treats brain damage.

There’s the [Kuding Flower], which improves the quality of honey; the [Nonstick Powder], which keeps pots from ever sticking; and the [Thirteen Needles of Luoshui], which treats nearsightedness...

As long as he has merit, the Heavenly Dao can meet any need.

Yang Yi: Can I pursue my goddess, Kunkun, the [streamer]?

Heavenly Dao: Spend 500 merit points to obtain all her information. Spend 5,000 to obtain the [Heartfelt Affection Pill]. Spend 50,000 to obtain the [Lovesick Gu].

Yang Yi: I want to fly on a sword.

Heavenly Dao: A sword-shaped, stand-up jet-powered flying craft costs only 500,000 merit points.

Yang Yi: I want to command a space fleet like the Trisolaris Fleet.

Heavenly Dao: Once you’ve offered up every material thing, cultural work, technology, and living creature on Blue Star for merit, you might just barely gain control of a fleet that isn’t even organized into proper units.

A Chinese dictionary is worth 100,000 merit points, and a manual on caring for sows after giving birth is worth 3,000, not to mention cars, gasoline, micro-tillers, phones...
