I Change My Fate Against Heaven Through Livestreaming

If I had to name the luckiest thing that ever happened to me, it would probably be meeting my master when I was at my most desperate.

My life has been full of misfortune since childhood: a minor disaster every three years, a major one every five. I can choke on a sip of water, for crying out loud. You know those flowerpots that fall from high-rise buildings? Believe it or not, they always land on me. I'm always tripping, and even cutting fruit ends with me cutting my hand.

Five years ago, while on a mission, I encountered something I could never understand. When I was on the brink of death, my master saved me.

“Your birth chart is unusual, and so is your fate. Ghosts are drawn to people like you. You could even say you're a feast for them.”

“How can I escape this fate?”

“Practice the Dao.”

Now that I've learned what I can, all I can do is accrue merit online and change my fate.

I never expected the first case I came across to involve a haunting at the police station.

Luo Mao: What if I told you there's a ghost in your police station? Would you arrest me?

Police: ...Please believe in science.

Viewers in the livestream: Sure, Taoist Master, you tell us to believe in science, then fly away yourself.

My master said a great tribulation awaits me when I turn thirty. If I can't avoid it, I'll die.

But I'm determined to fight fate.
