After seeking scriptures from the West, the mythical age under the Buddhist heaven system seems to have ushered in a brief peace. However, there is an undercurrent surging beneath this calmness. The six-eared macaque obtained the scriptures as Sun Wukong and ascended to the stage of fighting and defeating the Buddha. Both Heaven and Lingshan thought that the merits were perfect, but little did they know that the real Sun Wukong had been beaten to pieces by Tathagata Buddha in Lingshan with the help of the spiritual power of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the sky.
