Abyss of Spirit Devouring

Fifty thousand years ago, the "Burial Abyss" devoured the Nine Immortal Domains, plunging the cultivation world into an age of decline. Because Lin Xuanye possessed an ancient star chart, his sect plotted to send him into the Burial Abyss as a sacrifice. At its depths, however, he awakened a mysterious woman who called herself the "Abyss Spirit."

She bound Lin Xuanye's dantian with nine seals, forcing him to retrace the path of cultivation in a mortal body. "If you want to break your chains, then slay the false saints of the Nine Realms for me."

When Lin Xuanye returns to the world above bearing the incomplete star chart, he faces his sect's betrayal, the heart-piercing sword of his Dao companion, and the surviving members of the Abyss Clan hidden throughout the Immortal Domains. Gradually, he discovers that the so-called Burial Abyss is actually a prison built by ancient cultivators to imprison extraterrestrial demons. And he is the final living piece in a game that has lasted three hundred thousand years.
