Even beneath the false sky that shrouds Teyvat, there are those who are determined to gaze up at the cosmos.
The story begins in a parallel-universe Teyvat, with Inazuma at the very start of the Vision Hunt Decree.
Five hundred years ago, after the Lady of the Narukami returned from the battlefield in the Abyss, she suddenly changed from gentle and approachable to stern and autocratic. The seas were closed off, the country locked down... and at last came the Vision Hunt Decree. The people of Inazuma could barely breathe under the pressure. Unable to bear the hardships of the people, Kamisato Ayato decided that the Kamisato Clan would no longer go along with the other two clans. He risked his life to urge Beelzebul to show mercy to the people. But he ultimately angered the Shogun, and the Hiiragi and Kujou Clans joined forces to bring him down.
The Kamisato Clan collapsed, and Inazuma’s situation grew ever more complicated: Kamisato Ayato’s fate was unknown, Kamisato Ayaka was captured, and the people of Inazuma lived amid lies woven by the nobility.
But then a young man seemed to appear out of nowhere from Watatsumi Island. Would he be Inazuma’s hope, or lead the nation into another abyss?
