The Empress Sent Me to Marry for an Alliance, Then I Fought Again at Xuanwu Gate

The Great Yao Dynasty was originally ruled by the late emperor, Li Chang. But the princess who guarded the nation, Li Zhaojin, staged a palace coup, murdered her brother, and usurped the throne, becoming the Empress Yaowu. After establishing her new dynasty, she slaughtered the late emperor’s descendants, sparing only you, Li Qinxuan, the third prince of the former dynasty. She kept you alive partly to placate the old officials and partly to use you as a political tool.

Your maternal family has already been slaughtered, and you have spent five years confined in the Cold Palace. Now the empress has decided to send you north to marry into the Rong, supposedly as a diplomatic bride, but in truth she hopes to use a foreign power to eliminate you for good. She never imagines that you will survive in the north and, with help from outside forces, set in motion a campaign to restore your dynasty.
