Please Date Me, the Kind Where We Shower Each Other with Affection Every Day

[College campus + mutual pining + the male lead knows the heroine likes him + each other’s first and only + sweet romance]

Xia Pannuan never imagined she’d apply to the same university as Lu Linxi, choose the same major, and end up in the same class.

She’d thought her year of bittersweet unrequited love would end when college began. But Lu Linxi seemed to find even more reasons to cross paths with her, and every time she spoke to him, she couldn’t help feeling giddy inside.

But she always knew how great the gap between them was, and planned to bury her feelings deep in her heart.

When Lu Linxi was fifteen, his grandfather sent him to the countryside to toughen him up. Sulking, he spent two years studying there and met a cute, cheerful girl.

Just as he was thinking about getting into a school romance, he accidentally discovered the secret in the girl’s heart. The feelings he never got to confess stayed buried within him.

Over the past year, he’d secretly asked around for news of her and thought about her when she didn’t know.

Because of his family situation, he never revealed his feelings, wanting to protect Xia Pannuan. But he could never hide how much he favored and doted on her.

After they got together, his best friend teased him: “You two sure took your time getting together.”

Lu Linxi replied, “So what? She was going to be my girlfriend eventually. What’s wrong with flirting a little?”

Besides, he only dared to flirt because he knew how Xia Pannuan felt. He loved seeing her blush whenever he teased her. “Xia Pannuan, give me a kiss. It’ll make it up to you.”

Only later did she learn how unfairly the rules changed when it came to Lu Linxi’s mother: if she liked Xia Pannuan, her family background didn’t matter.
