[Sci-fi apocalypse + mecha + System + impostors + cyberpunk] Human scientists in a parallel universe launch the Civilization Origins Project to investigate humanity’s beginnings. By chance, they discover records of an ancient godlike civilization visiting Earth, and learn that some impostors had already infiltrated human society, planning to awaken all impostors.

In Earth Year 3050, the leaders of the Free Nation fall under the impostors’ control. Impostor infiltrators use weapons to break the seal, causing the impostors to awaken ahead of schedule and plunging humanity into the apocalypse.
The protagonist, Chen Yi, unexpectedly transmigrates to a time eighteen years before the apocalypse begins. When the end times arrive, he unexpectedly awakens a System that makes him stronger whenever he completes a mission. Later, thanks to this ability, he stumbles into the Nantianmen Space Station, part of Huaxia’s Spark Project.
At the invitation of station director Chang Linsi, Chen Yi joins the Guardian Squad. Together with his comrades, he survives the space station crisis, the Black Tower crisis, and the god crisis. Finally, to thwart the ultimate conspiracy, Chen Yi stands alone watch over the ruins of the gods at the edge of the solar system.
