Also known as [Courtyard Compound: I Fish My Way to a Comfortable Life]

[Early: Fishing] [Middle: Traditional Chinese Medicine] [Technology]

After transmigrating into a courtyard compound, Lin Feng awakens the Heavenly Mandate Cause-and-Effect System. From the start, he receives a good-luck talisman and a bad-luck talisman. As it happens, his father is being dragged into the courtyard and publicly denounced by Yi Zhonghai and the others for saying that Jia Dongxu had a father to sire him but no father to raise him. Seeing this, Lin Feng gets angry and uses the bad-luck talisman on Yi Zhonghai.

Unexpectedly, bad luck does strike, but the resulting karma falls on his father instead.

It turns out Lin Feng’s father, Lin Hai, was so angry that night that he threw half a brick at Yi Zhonghai’s house. He never expected his aim to be so good: the brick hit Yi Zhonghai right in the temple and killed the old man on the spot.

Lin Hai is then sentenced to life in prison for involuntary manslaughter. Yi Zhonghai is laid out for his funeral, and a banquet is held.
