Shocking News: An Immortal Has Died

[No romance + Chinese-style adventure + mystery and horror + Cthulhu + mild scares]

My name is Shen Shuyang. I'm an ordinary high school student, but one day I died in a premeditated murder.

I died, but came back to life...

After crawling out of a mass grave, I met a group of strange people.

I thought slaying evil spirits was the righteous thing to do, only to discover I had long since become one of them.

I thought I was an evil spirit who did nothing but harm, only to learn that everything I had always believed in was an illusion.

A thousand years ago, the Heavenly God Path was destroyed.

A thousand years later, the outer world fell into disorder.

Every conspiracy began to emerge.

When I learned the truth behind it all, I raised my sword toward the Nine Heavens Divine Hall...

"The disordered world will eventually be rebooted. When that day comes, the Heavenly God Path, dormant for a thousand years, will return once more."

"The Heavenly God Path will never be destroyed!"

After piercing through layer upon layer of mist, I finally saw it:

the truth of the world.
