This is the best pursuit-the-love-interest story I've read. It starts with the heroine putting scumbags in their place. The male lead knows his limits and when to back off, while the female lead reflects on herself and has a mind of her own. She's also kind to everyone around her, and even the supporting characters feel vivid.
