Mount & Blade II: The World Wasn't Supposed to Be Like This

Lords, welcome to the continent of Calradia.

After transmigrating, the protagonist, Akalion, arrives in the aftermath of the Battle of Pendraic, following the micro-management at Neretze.

The Calradic Empire, a thousand-year-old giant, split apart because of internal ills, dividing one people into three empires. Warlords, politicians, and old nobility rule the three empires as they waste their strength in endless infighting.

The red lion of the western coast is gradually rising. In the forests among the Pierre Mountains, wolves have begun to tear at the empire. The blue eagle of the old administrative provinces in the east is slipping beyond the empire’s control. The desert camels can offer the empire little more than a token contribution. The brown bear of the northern snowfields, having temporarily united the north, smashes the empire’s falcon banner.

War rages among the nations. Who will seize control of the continent of Calradia, and what new conflicts will follow...?
