I, Sun Wukong, Will Topple the Heavenly Court!

[Pure Journey to the West, no Primordial World elements, focused on power struggles]

[Sun Wukong is born as a Primordial Unity powerhouse with overwhelming combat strength. If that’s not your thing, don’t read]

In the Hall of Thunder, the Monkey King roars that without freedom, becoming a Buddha is worse than being a demon.

He never imagined that the golden headband was a soul-refining artifact, using karmic ties and fortune to suppress him.

In name, he was the Victorious Fighting Buddha. In truth, he was a puppet!

He was the mighty Great Sage Equal to Heaven. He’d rather shatter like jade than remain intact like a roof tile!

In his anguish, he self-detonates his primordial spirit and leaves the Tathagata coughing blood!

Though his soul is scattered, a spark of light remains, and he is reborn at the moment of his birth.

Who says my fate is written by Heaven? I decide my own fate!

A different Journey to the West: watch how Brother Monkey overturns the Spirit Mountain and the Celestial Court, one step at a time.
