In 2098, quantum-folding technology triggers “spacetime cancer,” splitting the world into five Cyberpunk dimensions ranked by status. The megacorporation Prism Group controls the right to travel between dimensions, exploiting each layer’s resources through a “spacetime tax.” The residents of the lowest tier, the Rust Zone, sell their memories to survive, while the nobles of the top tier, Eden, plot an ultimate escape plan called “Ark.”
