She was the Gu family’s daughter, but her standing changed after their adopted daughter, Gu Yue, joined the family.
Gu Yue not only stole the affection of her parents and older brother, but also the love of the man she had been with for five years. He had been using her all along for Gu Yue’s sake.
Once she learned the truth, she dumped the scumbag without hesitation.
After the breakup, she went to a bar for a drink. Someone drugged her, and she ended up in bed with a stranger.
To her surprise, the man was none other than Fu Yanshen, the future head of the Fu family and son of the wealthiest man in the country, rumored to be cold, ruthless, and uninterested in women.
So much for being cold!
Gu Yanzhi stared in horror as she tried to push Fu Yanshen away.
“Back off! Back off! Back off!”
Fu Yanshen gave her a wicked smile. “Yanyan, it was love at first sight for me.”
It's pretty cool. Why is it rated so low?
