Nezha: Storm and Fury!

Prince Nezha • Nezha was originally a Great Luo Immortal under the Jade Emperor. Because the mortal world was plagued by demons, the Jade Emperor ordered him to descend to earth, where he was born to Li Jing, the Pagoda-Bearing Heavenly King. • On the fifth day after his birth, Nezha transformed and bathed in the Eastern Sea. He set foot in the Crystal Palace and fought the Dragon King of the Eastern Sea, killing nine dragons. • After he shot and killed the son of Lady Shiji, she raised an army in retaliation. Nezha took his father's demon-subduing mace and defeated her. • Nezha angered his father, Li Jing, by killing Shiji, so he cut away his flesh and bones to repay his parents. Later, the World-Honored One, the Tathagata, rebuilt his body with lotus leaves and lotus roots. • Nezha was entrusted with the secret of the Dharma Wheel and became the Great Preceptor Who Reaches Heaven, a mighty and illustrious general who guards the Heavenly Gate forever.
