The Bureau of Strange Affairs

Beneath the bustle of the thriving city lies a world unknown to most. Since the founding of the nation, the rumor that “spirits must never attain human form” has not been baseless. It stems from the overwhelming suppression of the nation’s fortune, which has driven spirits who have cultivated their powers to withdraw from the world and lie low, afraid to show themselves. Among humans, meanwhile, a group of powerful figures has established the Bureau of Anomalous Affairs, dedicated to handling supernatural incidents among the public and safeguarding ordinary people’s peace.
