Douluo Dalu: The Shadow of the Reincarnation Sword

Ye Fan, a modern-day youth, unexpectedly transmigrates to Douluo Dalu. Qian Daoliu brings him to Spirit Hall, where he grows up alongside Qian Renxue. When his Martial Soul Awakening takes place, he is chosen by the twin gods of time and space and reincarnation, gaining the Sky-Splitting Sword and Reincarnation Sword as twin Martial Souls. But he learns that he must undergo 999 reincarnations before he can reach the God Realm, and that each time he reincarnates, he returns to the appearance of a six-year-old.

He trains diligently at Spirit Hall and obtains Soul Rings from the Reincarnation Secret Realm, rapidly increasing his strength. During the Battle of the Two Gods, Bibi Dong is in mortal danger, but Ye Fan turns the tide with the power of a 99th-level cultivator. After fighting Tang San to a draw, they agree to a truce. Everyone ascends to the God Realm, but Ye Fan stays behind to fulfill his mission.

When the Sun Moon Empire invades, Ye Fan deals a devastating blow to its forces. During one reincarnation, he is badly wounded and meets Jiang Nannan and her mother. He dotes on Jiang Nannan, changes her fate, and enters Shrek Academy with her to train. From then on, Ye Fan continues to reincarnate and protect Douluo Dalu as he grows stronger, waiting to complete his reincarnations and reunite with Qian Renxue.
