Playing Truth or Dare on a Variety Show

I lost a game of truth or dare on a variety show, and was told to text my first love, “I miss you.” I was hesitating over whether to open that profile when a fake-sweet girl who’d been in my high school class clicked on Pei Zhi’s chat first. Then she gave me a look that said she was ready to watch the drama unfold. “Everyone in our class knew what happened between you and award-winning actor Pei Zhi back then. Don’t pretend it never happened.” She was right. Pei Zhi and I had been wildly in love, then split up as if we’d never want to see each other again. She was obviously trying to humiliate me. But when I finally forced myself to send the message, he replied almost instantly: “After all these years, you finally remembered me.” “Have you been wanting to get back together with me this whole time?” “Weren’t you always the one clinging to me and begging for kisses?” “Say something... Don’t make me beg you.”
