Cyberpunk cultivation? Li Fan: It’s all about the bizarre and absurd!
When cultivation meets cyberpunk, an absurd, nonsensical story begins!
Twenty-two-year-old Li Fan was an utterly ordinary young man. He deliberately let a dog bite him to death so he could find Granny Meng and go into business with her, opening an underworld milk tea shop.
After arriving in the underworld, Li Fan launches into his surreal ghostly life. Selling milk tea? That’s small-time. He goes straight to hosting an arena match between hell’s beefcakes and skeletal knights. Cyber succubi, female ghosts in qipao! Li Fan is having the time of his life.
A cyber ghost falls in love with me, and those Republican-era hits are pretty great!
What? Not crazy enough? Eastern and Western mythology collide, the laws of Heaven collapse, and absurd events run rampant. Thor awakens to discover that in his past life, he was the son of the Thunder God and the Lightning Goddess! Li Fan livestreams the massive family reunion, while spectators flood the chat with “666.”
He uses a Primordial Cauldron of Chaos to refine the dean’s toupee and a Wi-Fi router into a “Baldness-Curing Hair-Growth Pill.” Those who take it sprout a 5G antenna on their heads that can receive signals from Heaven.
He talks a financial conglomerate into investing in “Cyber Flying Sword Didi,” only for every sword to be fitted with reverse thrusters. The passengers all transmigrate to the Jurassic period, and Heaven mistakenly thinks he has “turned over a new leaf”!
Reality is transformed into a ridiculous, capitalist cyberpunk cultivation world. Watch as Li Fan uses the kind of antics only a madman could dream up to create one absurd spectacle after another, reboot the Heavenly Dao, and ultimately establish a new order between cyberpunk and the primeval world.
666, What a good book
