Among the Stars: Starting from Scratch to Rule the Galaxy

(A Stellaris fanfic with multiple female leads. Not a wish-fulfillment story. The setting is generally based on the author's game, so this synopsis may not be quite accurate. For details, read the story.) I've met many rulers. There's the president of the United Nations of Earth, an extreme egalitarian and pro-alien, who thinks my country is prosperous. The xenophobic, extreme militarist Human Federation thinks I'm xenophobic and militaristic enough. As for the aliens, they just think I'm a war criminal. It's hilarious. I hope they'll still be saying those things when my fleet and Colossus arrive.
