CyberCthulhu|Memory Black Market|Quantum Buddhist Scripture|Fish and Blood Prosthetic Body
In a doomsday city where neon and abyss dance together, memory is the most dangerous currency and the last cage.
In 2085, every inch of the air in the suspended city "River of Forgetfulness" is soaked with the whispers of cyber gods and the salty smell of deep sea blood. Humans here sell their memories to make a living - pawning the throbbing of first love to the AI Yue Lao, selling their dying fears to undersea cultists, and even gouging out childhood silhouettes in their minds, just to exchange for the false warmth of a night of bionic dreams.
Su Ye is a mediator who wanders the black market of memory. His left eye is embedded with the bionic eye of his late sister, and his spine is inhabited by worms that feed on pain. His job is to prune memories for clients: delete the tremors of patricide for a rich man, implant false warmth for a killer, or "purify" the distracting thoughts of believers in the electronic Bodhisattva of an AI shrine. Until one rainy night, a contaminated memory chip engraved with his sister's iris pattern dragged him into a vortex of truth darker than the deep sea.
When our memories become food for others,
When gods are nothing but runaway algorithms,
How much soul are you willing to pay for "truth"?
