Xu Yunkai was the son of the lord of the Xu estate on Leizhou Island. But in the world of cultivation, his physical condition made it impossible for him to cultivate, and his family clansmen despised him for it. When he reached the gate, he merely looked back once, then left. His heart was already dead. His mother was nowhere to be found, and now his father had cast him out of the family. Resentment rose in him. He hated the unfairness of Heaven, his mother's silent departure, and his father's heartlessness.
And so Xu Yunkai arrived at the highest peak of the Redstone Abyss. Looking at the sky, he said, “I was born into a world of cultivation, yet I can't cultivate. What face do I have to go on living?” With that, Xu Yunkai shouted at the top of his lungs, then leaped straight into the Redstone Abyss.
Xu Yunkai thought this would end his life, but to his surprise, a clap of thunder rang out, and a bolt of lightning struck him.
When Xu Yunkai awoke, he found a tiny tower floating in his dantian. From then on, he seemed to have entered cheat mode, stepping onto the path of cultivation
